Opening reception: April 7, 2016 6 – 8pm
Join us to celebrate the artwork created during ArcWorks’ monthly workshop series, Origins.
ArcWorks began as a workshop program of the Northeast Arc to teach individuals with disabilities creative techniques. Since then, the program has evolved into much more, but the core ideals remain the same: provide individuals with an inspiring and encouraging place to learn and express themselves creatively.
This exhibit features artwork created by people with and without disabilities who took part in the integrated and affordable monthly Origins workshop series. Since July, a total of 58 unique artists have participated in the 9 workshops of the series. Some artists have attended each workshop while others have attended only one or two, but all have left with a feeling of creative accomplishment.
